The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Consultant specialising in PPM (Project Accounting) to join our clients talented delivery team in a client facing role, working on exciting projects across a broad client base.

You will:

  • Lead/engage with clients on ERP transformation/change programmes.
  • Demonstrate your focus on the client relationship.
  • Analyse their situation, and follow-up with a solution.
  • Work with clients to structure their ERP function.
  • Scope and run ERP elements of projects/programmes.
  • Provide insight, innovation and thought leadership to clients on the latest thinking across ERP.
  • Contribute to planning, scoping and shaping the ERP elements of projects and programmes.
  • Demonstrate stakeholder and client management.

Location and Commitments:

  • Permanent contract.
  • Full-time, 37.5 Hours.
  • Location: Remote with travel to our offices and client sites, UK wide; if you are successful for this position you will be expected to travel as the project requires, which may include overnight stays away from your home location. On average its one day per week.
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including Disclosure Barring Scotland (DBS) is a minimum requirement for all roles. This will be completed as part of preemployment checks by the businesses third party supplier Credence.

Person Specification (PPM – Project Accounting) Skills and experience you will need:

  • Proven experience of multiple full cycle implementation projects.
  • Able to demonstrate solution ownership for Oracle Cloud Project Management Cloud (Project Financial Management: Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Control, Project Billing, and Enterprise Contracts for Project Billing, Project Execution Management: Project Management, Project Resource Management, Task Management).
  • Proven hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud PPM modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud PPM processes.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customising Oracle Cloud PPM applications.
  • Experience in leading end-to-end implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post go-live support.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in both agile and waterfall project environments.

It would be of benefit, but not essential, if you also have:

  • Oracle Cloud certifications in PPM modules
  • A fully or part qualified financial professional (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
  • An understanding of the key business issues/drivers that result in clients pursuing transformation programmes
  • Experience of multiple industry sectors (Local and Central Government is a plus)
  • Experience of operating and implementing in a cloud environment and understanding the impacts of implementing and operating on the cloud versus on premise
  • Experience of at least one delivery project Oracle ERP project, either Cloud or EBS
  • Other relevant certifications for Oracle ERP Cloud

Remuneration – This varies accordingly to role, but generally the package consists of:

  • Basic salary.
  • Eligibility to enrol into the Company auto-enrolment pension scheme (within 3 months of commencing employment). The Company contribute 5% based upon qualifying earning; your contributions will be based upon by UK government legislation.
  • Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Our holiday year runs in line with our accounting period from 1st June to 31st May.
  • Eligibility to participate in the employee utilisation scheme1. You could earn up to an additional 10% of your gross basic salary per annum paid over three instalments across the preceding financial year.
  • Death in Service benefit 4 x gross salary2 .
  • Internal recruitment initiative – £5K reward per experience hire after 6 months’ successful probation period; £1K reward per apprentice/graduate hire after 6 months’ successful probation period.
  • Certified training in both ServiceNow and Oracle SaaS Cloud.
  • Paid expenses outside your base location, as per company policy
